Christmas Wine

Yes, I am still alive and kicking. Lots of things going on, and life has gotten in the way of any new posts. Well, that and just being lazy I guess. I will post some updates on the past few months soon, along with pics of Hunter and Sophie, who are growing up fast and doing great, and hopefully I can manage to keep my ADHD in check and be a little more regular here, after all, I am paying for the website! That said, I am back now and am introducing my 2022 Christmas wine. For Christmas 2022, I am bringing out what is far and away my most popular wine, my Peach Chardonnay. I had contemplated a mulled wine or fortified port-style wine, but this one is so requested that I felt it was appropriate for this year at least. Next year I will try to spring something different and more original on you for my Christmas wine, but maybe not, as I am sipping a glass of the Peach Chardonnay as I type this and am reminded of why it is so popular!

I am planning on producing several fruit wines in 2023, and likely some standard varietals as well. The country wine experiments (carrot, beet, sweet potato, etc.) should be aged sufficiently for a tasting sometime in late winter or early spring, so we'll see who I can convince to join me and we'll see if those are worth continuing or if they're better left as a backup for the zombie apocalypse.

Thanks for checking back in, I apologize for the blackout period. And in keeping with the season, Peach on Earth, Goodwill Toward Men!
