Has it been so long?

Ever notice how life seems to get away from you? One day you're full of good intentions and making all these plans, and the next it's 18 months later and you're looking back wondering where the hell the time went. That's been me with this site lately. Winemaking, wood turning, homesteading, and whatever have been rocking along, but it hasn't occurred to me to post about it until today. I was finishing up some final details on some wine I made for my nephew's wedding, updated my winemaking log (I keep a spreadsheet of every batch) and took pics of the labels. The pics reminded me I needed to post them on my website, and when I logged on, I realized it had been quite a while since my last post. A lot has happened in the past year, grandkids are growing and doing great, kids are all well and living their lives, my chickens and rabbits are still doing what they do, I had another rotator cuff surgery (it sucks!) and the wife retired. I'm still ADD (squirrel!) and jumping from one hobby to the next, but maybe I can stay focused long enough to catch up on a few things here over the next few weeks and get back on a routine. Anyway, thanks for sticking around, hopefully more to follow.

Congrats to my nephew Bryson Wilson and his lovely bride, Brianna. Wishing them a long and happy life together! Peach and Raspberry are the wedding wine flavors, dang good if I do say so myself!
