Welcome

Welcome to Open Water Winery. We are a hobby winery located in Laurens, South Carolina. This site will primarily feature snippets from my winemaking endeavors, but from time to time may include posts and pics from my other hobbies including scuba diving, woodworking, gardening, shooting sports, and whatever else strikes my attention-deficit fancy. Of course grandson Hunter will be regularly featured as well. The cover image is a photo of my son Clay I took while we were diving somewhere in the Caribbean. I use this picture as the background for most of my standard wine labels, but custom labels for family and friends often make an appearance. Come along on our winemaking journey!
